 Building Energy Certification

Flatt Consulting provide all Building Certification required for Sale, Lease or Rent of  Buildings, along with  Energy and Carbon Evalaution Certificates to manage and inform building users for de-carbonating opportunities review and Planning Submissions.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)

We offer a comprehensive Building Energy Certification service for both commercial and domestic properties. Services options can be assessed to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations, European Directives, BREEAM and CSH assessments. This includes the provision of SBEM (Level 3, 4, and 5) and SAP calculations for all building types and complexity.

Display Energy Certificates (DEC)

We can provide annual Display Energy Certificates with an advisory report for all public and private buildings. These are required to be undertaken annually with an advisory report valid for seven years.

Accredited Assessment (SBEM)

Our accredited energy assessors construct a computer model of the premises, either from drawings or survey, that accurately represents the building envelope and heating and cooling installations. The model is then analysed using Government approved SBEM software. An ‘Energy Performance Certificate’ for the premises will be issued indicating the buildings energy rating based on CO2 emissions. We then lodge the EPC on the national register. Opportunities to improve a buildings Energy Performance are also identified with a recommendations report.

Building Regulation Compliance (SAP)

Energy Performance Certificates for new domestic properties using Government approved Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) software can also be provided for Building Regulation Part L1 compliance and to support ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’ assessments.
