Managing Director

Simon is the Managing Director of Flatt Consulting and is responsible for the operations of a multi–discipline building services engineering practice.  Simon takes personal responsibility for the delivery of all projects.

 He is actively involved in projects through all stages of the design and construction process to ensure that client and project aspirations are fully realised. Working on many leading major projects, for Developers and End Users,  providing specialist expertise in the design of low carbon buildings with highly sustainable agendas.

Director

Mark is a Director of Flatt Consulting and is primarily responsible for client liaison and the design and management of multi-disciplinary projects.  Mark also has technical support, training, office administration and company management responsibilities.

Mark's experience is extensive ranging from Sustainable Building Design across all building sectors to Strategic Management of existing property maintenance portfolios. Mark also leads our in-house Building Physics Team.

Technical Director

During a career over 30 year's  in which he has occupied senior positions in Consulting and Contracting organisations, Steve has gained considerable engineering expertise which he applies as Technical Director of Flatt Consulting. He has led the design and management of a wide range private and public sector Building Services projects, in the UK and Overseas.

Steve specialises in low energy applications and is an air conditioning course provider.

As an Associate of Flatt Consulting David is responsible for the design & supervision of the mechanical services projects, including the supervision of support staff and technical reviews of the mechanical engineering design.

David project manages many projects and the multi discipline teams, in Commercial, Educational and Residential sectors, with specialist  expertise in Display Energy Certificates (DEC) and Air Conditioning Inspections, whilst also being a Low Carbon Consultant.

Ian specialises in resilient business critical electrical system design for Data Computer Centres.

Richard is an Associate Public Health Engineer responsible for the project management and design of a variety of mixed use and commercial projects including office, retail and residential developments. Richard's expertise is the design of utility infrastructure, domestic water distribution systems, drainage systems, fire systems and water treatment, meeting Sustainable usage requirements.

Managing many residential mixed use projects with Code for Sustainable Homes he provides considerable expertise ensuring the sustainable criteria is met.

Lee is an Associate Mechanical Engineer, with extensive experience and expertise across Commercial, Healthcare, Educational and Residential sectors.

Lee specialises in de-carbonation of existing building stock. His experience spans from highly serviced air conditioned buildings to Naturally ventilated buildings.
